Watching Sunrises at the South Jersey Shore

Goodbye winter and hello spring!

Now that the weather is getting warmer, I can’t wait to engage in more outdoor activities like walking at a nearby park, visiting my loved ones, and sitting on my balcony on a mild, sunny afternoon. The one thing I’m looking forward to is returning to Ocean City, NJ so I can observe the sun rise over the Atlantic Ocean at the beach.

Two months ago, I shared a story that was a haiku and affirmation about the beauty of sunrise. There’s something special to witness the beginning of a new day that connects me with both spirit and nature by listening to the symphony of seagulls flying in the sky while the ocean waves splash against the shoreline; feeling the cool, gritty sand on the soles of my feet; and smelling the relaxing scent of saltwater permeating in the air.
