An etheree poem created in response to a writing prompt.
This story was inspired by a writing prompt published under Chelsea Marie’s The Storyteller’s Vault Poetry Writing Prompts Challenge. It is also a poetic tribute to my dear friend and soul sista Fisiwe Zwana who facilities the Sunrise Scribe weekly writing group every Tuesday and Friday mornings at 7:15 am.

as pens bleed life
every week inside
Zoom cafes before dawn
where writers welcome wonder
creativity percolates
between literary libations
that honor self, ancestors, and Spirit.
