An encouragement letter about overcoming fear after testing positive for COVID-19.
Dear Bill,
You’ll have to shortly prepare for working at your part-time job today at Painting with a Twist. This will be the first time you’ll be back in the studio since you tested positive for COVID-19 one month ago. How are you feeling? I don’t know about you, brotha, but I’m feeling hooker in church nervous although I’m planning to wear a mask today. The class shouldn’t be too bad since seven people are currently signed up to participate in the event. In addition, the painting isn’t something I have to pre-sketch.
What’s really troubling you, Bill? I can sense something’s not right from the way you tossed and turned in your sleep. I know you’ve been deeply concerned about going outdoors since contracting the coronavirus. It’s made you hesitate to resume exercising at the gym three days a week, only doing so for your once a week, half hour scheduled appointment with your personal trainer. You’re wearing your mask when you go to the gym, food shopping, or stepping outside of your apartment.
It’s alright, Bill, for being concerned about your well-being. This pandemic doesn’t feel or appear like it’s going away anytime soon. My concern is that you don’t allow the symptoms you experienced while recovering and…
