Dear Bill:

You know it’s way too early for you to be awake on this Saturday morning.

The sun hadn’t yet rose in the sky when I started composing this letter. Well, you’re usually awake around this time to prepare for your full-time job mentally and physically on weekday mornings, so it’s understandable. And speaking of your job, I almost forgot you’ll be working overtime for a few hours today starting at 9:30 am, which I’m praying won’t be too bad since this hasn’t been a stressful week.

Anywho, enough about work, how you doin’, my brotha? I don’t know about you, Bill, but I’m feeling a little sleepy from not getting enough sleep the night before. Are you feeling the same? You had a busy evening doing your laundry after work so that was one less chore to accomplish. Afterwards, you went to Barnes and Noble and treated yourself to an artist date a la Julia Cameron’s The Artist Way purchased something to eat and started reading a new book you acquired the week before: David Ramsey’s The Total Money Makeover.
