Have you ever heard of National Journal Writing Month (NaJoWriMo)?

No, that’s alright. Although it’s not as popular as National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo) that takes place annually in November, NaJoWriMo is a quarterly event that occurs in January, April, July, and October where writers journal for 30 days.

According to the website, there are three different levels that individuals can participate in this literary event:

Level 1: Beginner Level: Journaling Level — Write a journal entry for 30 days.

Level 2: Thematic Level — Journal about the various NaJoWriMo themes throughout the calendar year along with journaling books with prompts and an email course (The Level 2 course enrollment fee is $10):

· January: Journaling for Personal Growth and Achieving Goals

· April: Personal Renewal through Journal Writing

· July: Places and Journeys

· October: Unleashing Your Creativity

Level 3: Advanced Level: 15,000 Words Challenge — Writing 15,000 words during the month (average 500 words per day).
