Storms shall disrupt things,
life is unpredictable
but I will have faith.

It would be nice if life could consist of sunny days with rainbows in the sky, but that’s not the case. Storms do arrive and sometimes bring torrential rainfall and dark clouds, especially those involving grief and loss. This subject is often associated when a loved one dies, but it can also take the form of losing your job, the end of a relationship, a major health issue, etc. I’ve experienced all that was mentioned in the last sentence. Sometimes it wasn’t easy to address and deal with the pain, but it was necessary for healing to occur.
There are various ways we can deal with grief including, but not limited to, counseling, journaling, positive social support, religion, and spirituality. Some religious and/or spiritual individuals rely on prayer and faith in their Higher Power. As a spiritual person, faith has navigated me through many storms in the past to get through the experience. And I’ll continue to exercise its power both in the present and the future.
Today, I will carry faith inside my heart that I shall weather any storm.
