A haiku and affirmation for the seventh day and principle of Kwanzaa.
Imani
To believe we are
the Creator’s image with
faith in our people.

Habari gani? Imani. As the Kwanzaa celebration comes to an end today, there’s no better way to do so by meditating upon its seventh principle. Faith is an essential element not only for our spiritual foundation and having self-perseverance, but also in the belief that the people within the community. Through this act, we can employ our works to make positive contributions that will be beneficial for sustaining a promising future.
Today I exercise my faith in the power of my Creator to reflect all that is good and beautiful within self and for the community.
